My dear brothers and sisters. Eighteen brothers have now taken the presidential oaths. These were oaths spoken with sincerity and true dedication to lead and serve our beloved brotherhood. Solemn words recited in times of so much hope and anticipated achievements and prosperity. Every so often these words were spoken when we were faced with seemingly impossible challenges but each time we surmount these, not because of the efforts of those in the leadership and the National Council, but because we, Alpha Phi Omegans, have remained faithful to the ideals of our founding brothers. Brothers and Sisters: Good evening to all of you. I regret to inform that the National Administrative Office (NAO), will still be close until tomorrow, June 2, 2009. We have just arrived from Boracay. As of this hour, Sis Vanessa Joy Merilles, NAO Staff, together with brods and sis` headed by COMELEC Commissioner Brod Rey Santibanez, are travelling by RORO (Ceres Lines), bringing home more than 15 cartons of NAO materials used during the 25th NBC and souvenir items left unsold. We, the entire NAO team will have to arrange everything, do a lot of reports and reconciliation of records, to ensure that by June 3, 3009, Wednesday, our office will be ready to....[]

APO-ARME Donates 2 Units to APO-GK Village

APO-ARME recently donated Php130,116.27 good for two (2) GK houses intended for the APO-GK Village in Palo,Leyte. The APO-ARME GK project has been spearheaded by Sis Ebonnie Martins, Acting RAD for ARME. The latest donation brings us closer to the 14 unit-pledge made to GK. Five units have been turned-over last year, three more are currently under construction and the latest 2 units will bring the total houses to TEN (10) GK units. Pledges from APO Singapore, APO-Europe and the ongoing pledge/contribution from Brod. Dr. Frank P. Brosas, Jr makes us optimistic that we shall be able to complete the entire village before the year ends.....[]
